Happy Happy New Year! Another year to celebrate life, to live, to love and laugh a lot! There is always the talk of resolutions at the start of a new year, and I emphasize the word "talk". It's not necessarily a bad thing, I look at it as an effort to get things right, to achieve something never achieved before. Don't stress over making a long dreaded list and then worry about checking it off, just think good thoughts and do the best you can. We all feel better when we at least try. Sometimes it is better to set short-term goals. Maybe try to achieve one thing within a few months, and then something new/different the next few months. Take your time and enjoy the journey. You don't have to be perfect at everything all the time, what fun is that anyway? Not to mention you will surely fail because it is impossible! Trust me I know first hand. Try to seek to find balance in your life. Work hard, but also take time for yourself and relax. Enjoy the good things: whatever that is for you. For me it is spending time with God, family and friends, laughing with my son, sailing on the ocean, going fishing with my husband, reading a good book, eating delicious food, sipping on good wine and looking forward to more memories and adventures that are to come . Life is short, today is a gift, so unwrap it and make the most of it! Cheers!
